Long Island Maternity & Newborn Photography

Welcome to Natasha Beccaria Photographer

Long Island Newborn & Maternity Photographer

My style is…”clean and timeless”. I prefer less props and simple punches of color to allow the subject to be the star of the photograph

I aim to evoke emotion and capture the soul of my subjects.  Sessions take place in the comfort of my studio or in a natural setting outdoors at a park nearby.

Rainy Day

I declared today a pajama day which is appropriate since it’s raining and windy on and off outside. My little peanut is watching Mickey Mouse Club House while her brother is in the bath and I’m busy picking this place up. It’s just a typical day, really. But these are my favorite and that’s why I picked up the good camera. Whenever I go through old photos from my childhood, I crave “screen shots” of every day life.  My dad was notorious for snapping pictures here and there for no reason.  I always remember the special moments like vacations or special holidays, but those every day moments….they all mesh in together, and 10 years from now, when my kids will be anywhere but home (because that’s what pre-teens and teenagers do) I’ll be craving those moments and re-living them through photos is my favorite past time.

Time Flies

My little girl is just shy of 2 months old. Where have the weeks gone? I vowed to really take this time to be with her and my son and not work too much, which is why I only have a handful of photographs that I took myself (so lucky to be surrounded by great photographer colleagues who took wonderful photographs of me and my family). Below are a few of them starting in the hospital up until this week. I’m feeling blessed and my heart is full of love (my body full of fatigue! ::: smile:::: ). It’s both a rewarding and exhausting experience being a parent of a newborn and a preschooler, though I have to admit both of them relatively easy children. With that said, there are days when I simply must close my bedroom door and take 15 minutes of peace and quiet in order to function on a normal level. Sigh…. the joys of motherhood. I’m sure any mom can relate!
